From the very start of this Artificial Lift series of events in 2004 all the major Russian and International manufacturers of comprehensive artificial lift systems have been actively supporting this project. In 2006 the audience and speakers also included delegates of all the major oil and gas producers of the CIS, as well as many other companies, thus representing the whole market community. As a result the conference evolved into a workgroup capable of making decisions on further market, technology and service development in the artificial lift domain. Special technological manifesto and the conference digest are being prepared for publication, which is going to serve as a basis for the 2007 event.

It is anticipated that the key focus of the 2007 year event will be constituted by the “Artificial lift system ‘2010”concept in all its aspects and implications. Yet another challenge to meet is to elaborate a coordinated nomenclature and quality standards for ESP’s on the CIS market. The event will sum up and advance this year’s achievements.

Since 2006 the conference is supplemented with a specialized exhibition, giving all the interested companies the opportunity to provide a closer look at their technologies, equipment and services.
